Woes Continue

I was able to confirm that my dad is going to the second all star series race. I was very happy to hear from him about that. Now I hope for no snow so to make is trip less hazardous.

I got to race with Richard Petty again today. He was able to save my behind as I found that the parts that I had lost in last weeks race were not in the store. Thanks again Rich for getting me back up and running again.

Oh but there is more. Not only was he able to get me back up and running, I was able to trade a center one way from him. This will be the first time I've tried this in my car.

I wasn't sure what setup to use for the new one-way so I kept everything as is and just hit the track.

There were a few things that kept me from properly testing the car with the new equipment. First is that I felt a little rushed today. Scotty was eager to keep the race program flowing so everyone can get out and home at a decent hour. This meant that if I broke, I had very little time to mend before my next race. I know the rushed schedule is necessary but it is a tad annoying.

Second is that I kept breaking in my races. The same screw fell out during all three of my races today giving me quite a bit to do between races.

It was still fun when all is said and done. I had some good times with some good friends. Sometime this week, I will practice with the car and see if I can get the problems I have fixed.
